Welcome to Katami
This fall, four-time James Beard Award-nominated chef Manabu “Chef Hori” Horiuchi and partner Yun Cheng, are bringing a new sushi, wagyu and sake-focused restaurant to Montrose.
Katami, a name that translates to “gift” or “keepsake” in Japanese, represents what Chef Hori believes is the future of Japanese cuisine in America. It is his gift to the city of Houston, for the love you have shown him over the past thirteen years since he and Yun introduced their sister restaurant, Kata Robata.
We will open Katami in the coming weeks, and look forward to welcoming you through our doors.
